If I am certain of anything, I am certain of this: We are blessed with an amazing school community here at Meridian. Through our difficulties, we unite; in our moments of victory, we celebrate with one another; and during uncertainty, together, we persevere. We will never be accused of being perfect here but, like any family, we find our way forward together.
From the Superintendent
The through line of strength in the stories held by every Meridian Bobcat is palpable. You feel it when you walk through our halls, when you visit a classroom, or when you see us compete on the fields and courts as hardworking student-athletes.
You are a part of this school community, part of this family, and it is because of your investment of time, talent, and energy that we are able to prevail.
And we do prevail. As I read through the stories in this issue of Meridian Fusion, I see incredible young people and talented, committed, and caring members of our faculty and staff. I see courage, optimism, confidence, humility, and hope. The through line of strength in the story of every Meridian Bobcat is palpable. You feel it when you walk through our halls, when you visit a classroom, or when you see us compete on the fields and courts as hardworking student-athletes.
I’m proud of this school, its students, its families, its teachers, leaders, coaches, and staff. To be clear, we have in our midst, everything we need to launch the dreams of our young people, to inspire our community, and to make a difference in the world. If you’d like proof of that, you need only flip through the pages of this issue and read a few of the stories of us. Because, I’ll tell you what, we look good in ink!
